I stole this off of my friend Emily's blog but thought it was a cute idea!

I DID IT!!!

Last Friday I did my first 5K run. It was so fun, but a lot harder than I thought it would be. I finished in 34:58 seconds. I know it is almost 35 minutes, but not quite. My mother-in-law and I did it. Curtis was trying to meet us at the finish line, but he was a little late. So we ran in to him while we were racing. It helped give me that last little push to finish.

4th of July

We went to Lake Tahoe to watch the fireworks for the 4th of July. It was fun spending time with family. The girls sure enjoyed playing with their cousins.

Weird!!

As most of you know my maiden name was Blood. I know, it's very different. It is very rare that you find another Blood anywhere. So the other night Curtis and I were watching the Olympic trials - track and field. There were women running a 5K. One of the women's names was Nicole Blood. Isn't that crazy. I never got to see what she looked like, but she was really skinny (I only know because they have to be if they are training for the olympics). Maybe there is hope for me.
