Go Green!

Birthday Videos - So Cute!

6 Years Old

We had a little birthday party for Natalie with some of her friends. - McKay Bertagnini, Haley, Juliana Maslen, Lauren Gessell, Sabrina Lopez and Herbie Lewis. She had a great time.
She begged and begged us for the guns. They are cap guns. Everytime they go off both the girls have to plug their ears.
Painting a vanity that she got for her birthday
Her very favorite present of all - the cowboy boots

Surprise!!!

On Thursday, Feb. 21 we got a phone call from Grandma Ruthie saying that she was on the way to our house. The girls were so excited. It has been so long since we have seen her. She was hoping to get over the hill to Reno, but she couldn't because of bad weather. We had a good time hanging out. Thanks for coming to see us Fuffie!!!

100th Day of School

February 15 was the 100th Day of School Celebration in Natalie's classroom. Here are a few pictures.

Hula Hoop Jumping Jacks
Fire Pole - this was the first time she tried it. She loved it.

My mom was in town so she watched Kate for me.

No Gas

So I had the gas man come on Thursday to see if I had a gas leak. He checked everywhere. There was nothing. No leaking, no smell - nothing. Curtis and I went back to our closet later that day and the smell was gone. It has vanished and we have no idea what it was. I was able to have my Valentine's dinner cooked and everything. It turned out nice.

Happy Valentine's Day

I woke up this morning with a great dinner planned. We were going to have steak and salmon, yummy broiled potatoes and broccoli. It was going to be great. Yesterday we started smelling something like rotten eggs only in our room (no it wasn't Curtis' farts). We couldn't figure out what it was. A light bulb finally went on this morning (thanks Natalie) that I probably have a gas leak in my house. I have been waiting all day for PG&E to come. I can't go anywhere and they won't give me a window when they will be here. I could be waiting up until 8:00 this evening. Back to my yummy dinner, I probably won't be able to cook it tonight. So Happy Valentine's Day to me!!!!

Like Mother, Like Daughter

Last night we finally had time to watch President Hinckley's funeral. He was such a wonderful man. At the end, they had a slide show of his life. It was awesome. Well, being the boob that I am I was crying. Curtis looked down at Natalie and she was crying too. It was so sweet. She was getting embarrassed because Curtis noticed.

Great Company, Crappy Food

We had a lot of fun, even though the food was either missing or cold. Note to self - Never eat at Logan's Roadhouse again.

Makeup

The girls decided they wanted to give me a "makeover." So Natalie put eyeshadow and lipgloss on me. I think I have at least 3 layers of junk on my lips. I then let Haley have a turn. She started to put eyeshadow on me. Then told me that the eyeshadow applicator had been dropped in the toilet. She said "that's okay, we can still use it." I asked Natalie how she got it out. "We just used toilet paper." I told them to go throw it in the garbage. She goes "it's okay, it's dry." GROSS! So now I have to go wash my face.
