Time for Real Food

Yeah! We have reached a big milestone in Kate's life. She can now have rice cereal. We are so excited. Although I am not sure how much of it she actually eats. Most of it ends up on her face. But she is still too stinking cute. From the looks of things, she is overjoyed also.

Lounging by the Fire

What the????

Our power went out on Friday, Jan. 4. So of course we had no phones because they are all cordless. My mother-in-law gave a duck phone to Curtis for his birthday. I never knew it would come in handy. I was talking into a duck's butt. The best part is when the phone rings the eyes light up red.

Six Things About Me

Emily tagged me. Which means I have to come up with 6 things about me. So here it goes.

1. I hate it when Curtis drives my car and readjusts the seats and mirrors. Then he wonders how come I drive so close to the steering wheel. Um Duh!! I am a lot shorter than him.

2. I like to wear polo shirts. I guess it makes me feel a little more dressed up than I usually get.

3. I love to ride quads. One day I will have a pink quad. It will be great fun!

4. I like to run. I want to run a marathon or 1/2 marathon. It might be challenging though, because in high school I was never a long distance runner. I was dying when I had to run a mile. Hopefully things will change because a marathon is a long ways.

5. I love shrimp

6. I love High School Musical 2

Santa

There is a wonderful man in our ward that each year dresses up as Santa. He is in primary with the girls. They think that Santa is LDS and goes to church with them. Every Sunday he has a red suit he wears. They get a kick out of it.

(I know it is out of order, but I forgot about the Santa pictures.)

Merry Christmas!!

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Blood (the wedding shoes light up and play the wedding march) No she doesn't have two black eyes - she also got makeup for Christmas
Thanks Aunt Carrie and Uncle Dale

Thanks Nana and Mark
They had a great time opening their presents. They got so many great things.

Santa Comes Tomorrow

Guess how excited the girls were that Santa was coming?

Santa Calls

This is the girls favorite time of year for obvious reasons. But every Christmas Eve they get a call from Santa. They are so excited to talk to him and ask him about his reindeer.

Temple Lights

At this time of year we take our annual trek down to the Oakland Temple. They decorate it with cool lights. The girls love to see the lights and walk around the top of the temple. It has a gorgeous view of Oakland and San Francisco. This year we went two times. Once with the Lewis' (met the Nydegger's there) and then again with my dad. It was fun both times.
