Haley was talking to me today. She said "Mom, I am so happy I'm a girl." I asked her why and she said, "because when I grow up I get to be a mom and have eyeballs in the back of my head like you!"

Cracker Challenge Update
Apparantly we are dumb. We were with Curtis' sister, Carrie, and her husband Dale last night. We told them about the crackers and how we were not able to eat 4 crackers in a minute. So Dale tried it. Yep, he did it and still have 15 seconds to spare. He must have tons of saliva in his mouth. He was like "what's the big deal - 4 crackers, super easy! You guys are wimps!"

Cracker Challenge!!
Curtis and I were talking about how hard it was to eat four saltine crackers in one minute. The girls didn't understand how difficult it would be. We had to try it. We all did and were cracking up. The girls thought we were super silly. You should try it.

Feeding Time
You would think that she is hungry all the time with those cheeks. She had to open her mouth as big as possible in order to get that tiny little spoon in it. Normally she is very quiet and easy going. You get her at the dinner table and you can't feed her fast enough. In between bites it is a high pitched squeal, not because she is happy but because she is ticked there isn't food in her mouth. I usually can't get a bite in before she is squealing. I guess she feels she has to compete with her sisters for talk time. Usually she ends up winner because she is the most annoying!

Reno
On Christmas evening we decided to go over hill and visit family in Reno. We had lots of fun. I don't think we saw Natalie and Haley all weekend. They had lots of fun playing with Brinn and Lily and Emma. For fun we all like to head over to the gym at the church building. We usually play a little basketball, do a little double dutch and a little jumprope. Natalie and Haley have enjoyed jumping rope in our backyard, but they loved it even more with all their cousins

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Well, obviously you know that we didn't get Christmas cards out this year. It was CRAZY! We hope you all had a great Christmas. Here is the rundown of how it went.
It all began with a "wonderful" Christmas Eve spent in the Urgent Care facility. Kate woke up from her nap all happy then all of a sudden she was screaming and wouldn't open her eyes. We thought she might have had some dirt in her eye so we flushed it (or tried - you try getting a 2 year old to open her eye under running water). We did this about 4 times. Still nothing. She cried for a LONG time. At 7:30 we took her to Urgent Care because the advice nurse told us she could get an infection in her eye. There was lots of screaming - not just from Kate! While Curtis was at the Dr. with Kate we watched Elk and put reindeer food out on the lawn for the reindeer. Yes, they came and ate it. The kids were very excited that they left some glitter at the front door step.

Kate - My Panty Girl!
Today Curtis was wrestling with the girls and they were having a great time. Kate had just went to the bathroom and only had panties on. Apparently she wanted to get in on the action with Curtis and the girls. So she stood on the couch, took off her panties and waved them around in a big circle over her head. When no one noticed what she was doing she decided to wave them in Natalie and Curtis' face. I certainly hope this is not a recurring thing.
