EEEEWWWWW!!!!

Yesterday I was playing with Kate. She was being so cute, standing on my lap, talking to me and making noises. I went to give her a kiss and she threw up right on my lips. It was SOOOOO gross!

Christmas Spirit!

We finally got our tree decorated. It took a couple days to get the lights on. I spent two hours one night putting the rest of the lights on. We got down to our last strand of lights and realized we needed one more strand to do three branches. If only that was the least of our troubles. After finishing we came back into the room to find the lights on the entire tree OUT except for the last strand. I was so ticked since I am the one that puts the lights on the tree. I went to bed ticked off at the world. The next day I figured it was the second to last strand that was causing the problem. I switched that strand and bought one more to finish my tree. The girls loved helping to put the ornaments on the tree.

My husband did a wonderful job of putting the lights on our house this year. His job was a little easier this time. Last year he ran out of time decorating the house and was only able to get one strand of lights on. Yes, they stayed on the house all year and they still worked when we plugged them in this year.

Presents from Grandma & Grandpa Blood

Grandma and Grandpa Blood were so nice to send presents to the girls. They love playing the bingo game.

Little Darling

Here are some pictures that were taken of Kate. She is too cute. These are just a couple of the cutest ones. They were taken on Halloween. She was blessed on Sunday, November 4. Yes, Curtis remembered to say her name. (During the blessing of Haley, he forgot to say her name.)

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!

It has been a very long time since I have last written. A lot of people have been wanting me to update. Over Thanksgiving break we went to Reno to get our Christmas tree. We hiked and hiked. All the while listening to the joyous sound of kids crying because their feet were cold, wet and numb. They kept tripping over logs, rocks, dirt and their own feet. We finally found the tree of our dreams (well my dreams, Curtis dreams don't consist of trees). It was probably 30-40 feet tall. When Craig and Curtis cut it down, they decided it was too heavy. So they chopped off about 10 feet. Then it was still too heavy and they chopped it down to 16 feet - WIMPS! They happily carried it on their strong shoulders for quite some time - cussing my name under their breath - I don't even think it was under their breath. They were pretty verbal about it! Then to get to our truck they had to cross a creek on a plank that was 12 inches wide (pic to come later). It was then that I was informed that we were done with really big trees! Now he is the "Ruiner of Fun"
