Cow Meat

We had steak for dinner on Sunday night. Natalie was wondering what kind of meat it was and what kind of animal it came from. I explained it to her. She was almost done eating all her meat and she say "Cow meat is so good! I love cow meat!" Curtis and I were laughing. She got totally embarrassed.

San Francisco (or Not)

Our good friends, Creed and Emily, came to Oakland to watch an A's game. Curtis and I were going to go and got a sitter about 1 month ago. Well the babysitter cancelled last weekend. We decided we were still going to go meet them there with the kids and then come home before the game. It turns out the Kate got sick on Friday and was sick all day Saturday. We couldn't go. I guess it wasn't supposed to happen. We were totally bummed. We don't see them very much so it would have been nice. (Although, Emily could have planned a little better and stayed an extra day to come and see her best friends in Elk Grove. Way to go Em!)

Sleep Tight!

Haley was hiding from me while I was upstairs. I guess I took a little too long. She fell asleep under our dining room table. She was there for about an hour or so. It can't be comfortable.

Fashionista

Oh boy - do I have my hands full. I hope this is only a phase. Don't you love the socks with the shoes?

Long Overdue - Haley's 4th Birthday

I know it has been a few weeks since her birthday, but better late than never.

I was so proud of myself for making this cake. I decorated it at night. The next morning I came downstairs and almost all of the red swirl candies had fallen off. Good thing I took pictures the night before

Look at all the crazy girls! They are so silly

Guess Who Got Shutters?

My sweet husband got shutters for the back of our house. It looks so nice. I am so excited about them. (Yes, they have been in for a few weeks, but I have been slow updating my blog)

Cinco de Mayo

Yesterday the girls had a Cinco de Mayo celebration in their classroom. It was really cute. The poor boy that Natalie is dancing with has no rhythm. Natalie is leading the whole time. I wonder where she gets that from.
